Maccabi Rishon Le’zion 93-85 Ventspils

Maccabi Rishon continued to play great basketball in the FIBA EuropeCup as they defeated Ventspils and move on to the quarter final round of the competiton. Winning the best of three series 2-0, Maccabi shot an impressive 64% from the field including 74% from inside the arc. Mark Lyons scored 24 points hitting all 12 of his free throw attempts while dishing out 8 assists. Shawn Dawson poured in 25 points while grabbing 6 rebounds, and Darryl Monroe chipped in 17 points to go with 8 rebounds. Derrick Nix added a double-double for Ventspils with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
