Bnei Herzliya 95-92 Nes Ziona
Herzliya jumped to third place while Nes Ziona moved to 10th as the home side dominated throughout. Drew Crawford had 23 points while Aviram Zelekovits added 17 in the win. Tal Dunne scored 22 points and Fuquan Edwin dropped 19 points in a long effort that saw Nes Ziona down by 18 in the 3rd quarter.
Kiryat Gat 89-88 Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion
Kiryat Gat shocked Rishon with a 1-point win after outscoring Rishon 21-13 in the final frame. Marco Killingsworth’s double-double of 13 pts and 13 rebounds helped in the win as teammates Alando Tucker and Paula Delaney scored 24 and 23 points respectively. Mark Lyons led the way for Rishon scoring 19 points.
Hapoel Eilat 65-78 Ironi Nahariya
In a north-south matchup Nahariya picked up the win to move them into 5th place with a 8-7 record. The northern club led coast to coast with Michael Umeh scoring 21 points as Richard Howell’s monster performance of 20 points and 18 rebounds, Niv Berkowitz’s 14 points and 10 assists and Cameron Clark’s 14 points and 13 boards led the way to a dominating victory.
Hapoel Tel Aviv 85-74 Maccabi Haifa
The Reds inconsistent season continued as they picked up the W against a Haifa side that has provided much entertainment this year. Raviv Limonad led all scorers with 18 points as one of 6 players in double digits while Will Graves’ 14 points led Haifa.
Maccabi Ashdod 94-68 Hapoel Holon
After a close first half with which saw Ashdod ahead 45-42, the Tzvika Sherf’s side blew away Holon outscoring the purple side 49-26 in the second frame. Charles Thomas scored 24 points and Jonathan Skjoldebrand added 21 points and Diante Garrett 20 points in the big win. Isaac Rosefelt scored 23 points in a losing effort as his side went 5/24 from 3-point land.
