Maccabi Tel Aviv fell to Real Madrid 98-86 as the yellow-and-blue were swept in there Spanihs double week and saw their Euroleague record drop to 8-13 on the season. Mario Hezonja and Alberto Abalde scored for Real Madrid while Iffe Lundberg, Jaylen Hoard both scored deuces while John Dibartolomeo, Jimmy Clark and Oshae Brissett all went for deep helped Maccabi Tel Aviv take a 25-21 lead after ten minutes of play. TJ Leaf helped the yellow-and-blue to a 41-33 lead in the second quarter but Andres Feliz hit a trio of triples and Chuma Okeke also went from deep to give Los Blancos a 48-47 advantage at halftime.

Real came out strong to begin the third quarter as Hezonja, Walter Tavares and Facundo Campazzo scored with ease while John Dibartolomeo and Lundberg tried to keep the game close but the hosts took a 76-65 lead after thirty minutes of action. Theo Maledon and Trey Lyles put in points, Jimmy Clark responded as ddi Leaf but more points from Campazzo closed out the double-digit victory. Dibartolomeo scored 14 points and Leaf put in 13 points in the loss while Hezonja scored 16 points and Campazzo scored 15 points in the win.

Oded Katash spoke about the defeat, “It feels like it [that we ran out of gas in the second half] we tried our best and most of the game we were ok and we were competing. I think that starting the third quarter that was the momentum [shift] and we couldn’t find our rhythm offensively and that is what decided the game.”
Hapoel Beer Sheva clipped Hapoel Galil Elyon 77-70 thanks to a fourth quarter comeback that saw the southern reds outscore the hosts 22-8 to take the win up at Kfar Blum. Brandon Angel led the way with 25 points and Daian Dunn added 17 points in the victory while Shachar Amir scored 15 points and Raz Ada put in 14 points in the loss.
