“We’re happy that we made the fans happy,” Jerusalem Head Coach Yonatan Alon began. “It’s how we play on both sides of the ball and we knew that we wrest as good when the game wasn’t going to be played at a fast pace. So we said we would play aggressively and consistently. The key to win in both competitions is to use a deep squad and split up the minutes. We know there are some very good teams and we will plays some tough games.”

Cassius Winston also discussed the victory, “You never know how the game is going to go but we like our chances against anybody and we came out focused, moving the ball well and taking good shots. You want to set the tone and if you allow teams to stay in it, they have very good players they would think they would have a chance. As for Maccabi coming up, it would be great and big one for us, it’s a really good team and we want to handle business and we want to grow.”
