Maccabi Raanana downed Bnei Herzliya 82-73 thanks to a strong second half that saw the hosts comeback from a 43-35 halftime deficit as five players scored in double digits to take the win. Hassan Diarra scored 18 points, Joaqin Szuchman added 13 points and Yotam Hanochi scored 12 points in the victory while Max Heidegger scored 19 points and Shalev Lugashi put in 15 points in the loss.

Elitzur Netanya defeated Hapoel Galil Elyon 72-61 as Idan Avshalom’s squad took the win after having finally been granted the final spot in the Premier League due to Hapoel Afula not fielding a team for the new season. Hapoel Eilat attempted to combine forces with Afula in order for the Leumit League team to play in the top division but after weeks of back and forth with the Israel Basketball Association and the courts, the merger was not allowed to go forward. Otis Frazier scored 19 points and Trey Calvin added 15 points in the victory as Sam Alajiki scored 19 points in the loss.
