Ryan Boatright signed with Bnei Herzliya for the 23/24 season after having spent last season in Russia. The 30-year old point guard played his college ball at UCONN where he averaged 17.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists in his final season before turning pro and heading to the G-League. From there, the Aurora, Illinois native played in Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Lithuania, China and France while last year at Parma Boatright scored 8.1 points and handed out 3.5 assists per game.
“Ryan brings toughness, character and competitiveness which are exactly the things that we looked for in our point guard,” head coach Dan Shamir said. “He’s a player who has played in Europe over the years and experienced ups as well as downs and is here to show his abilities in his better years. We believe in him and that he will do just that, connect with the team and help lead it to success.”
