Roye Shelem came on board The Sports Rabbi show as we broke down the Israel State Cup final that saw Bnei Herzliya down Hapoel Tel Aviv 87-82 in a great battle on the court that also was influenced by some very poor officiating. We also discussed the latest situation at Maccabi Tel Aviv after Ioannis Sfairopoulos was fired and where the future lies within the squad as well.

We then moved over to the soccer side of the program as we talked about Maccabi Tel Aviv’s minimal 1-0 defeat to PSV in Conference League action as well as their Derby win over Hapoel. Maccabi Haifa and Kiryat Shemona was up next and then we finished off with Hapoel Beer Sheva and the rest of the latest Israeli football news.
