Maccabi Tel Aviv Head Coach Oded Katash spoke about the win, “Great win for us. The first half saw a high scoring game and we started the 3rd quarter very well. They had a good run at one point but we showed character to get the W. It’s very important to get the win for us in a tough game. This time it went our way, I’m proud of our players. They hit some tough shots and I’m very happy for us.”

“Again, the game was decided by one possession. Again we fought back. We didn’t have enough power and energy to break the game,” Dubai coach Jurica Golemac said. “The crucial part was the third quarter when we started without energy, without aggressiveness, without intensity. They got confidence and took an advantage. We fought back and found the rhythm, but not enough to win the game.”

Jaylen Hoard reflected on the victory, “I thought I played well and the team did too. I think we could have been better at being more consistent throughout the game, but we will take the win. I’m really happy to get our 3rd win in a row. It’s good for the momentum. It was a little nerve wracking at the end, but we stayed composed and stayed together so I’m happy about that.”

Roman Sorkin shared his thoughts as well, “We showed a lot of character coming back after they had the lead and I think in the last few weeks we showed a lot of character including Iffe Lundberg and other players on the team. For next game we need to be better. They came all the way back but we won on the road which is not easy to do.”
