Khadeen Carrington inks 3-year deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv

Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball Club signed guard Khadeen Carrington to a three-year contract that runs through the end of the 2028/29 season. Carrington (30, 1.93m / 6’4″) joins Hapoel after spending the last four seasons with Hapoel Jerusalem, where he won two Israeli State Cups, two Winner Cups and one Israeli Super Cup. The guard, who represents the Israel National Team and was part of the blue-and-white’s most recent EuroBasket campaign and the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers, previously played for Mornar Bar, Limburg, Ludwigsburg, Monaco, Real Betis and Dijon before making his way to Israel.

Over his four seasons in the Israel League, Carrington averaged 13.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game during the regular season. Last campaign in the EuroCup, he averaged 14.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Khadeen Carrington said after the signing, “I’m excited for this next chapter and grateful for the opportunity to join Hapoel Tel Aviv after competing against the club over the past few years. The club has shown incredible growth over the past few years and I am excited to be part of that journey.”

He is a player who can cover multiple roles. He understands what it means to play for Hapoel Tel Aviv and he will definitely help us to be successful in the domestic competitions as well as in Euroleague.”

Head Coach Dimitris Itoudis also commened, “We’re very pleased to have Khadeen with us. I spoke with him and he’s fully aware of what he can bring to the team. He has extensive experience in the Israeli league and he’s excited to experience the differences between all the leagues he’s has played in and the EuroLeague.
