Hapoel Jerusalem forward Da’Sean Butler spoke about Tuesday nights game at home against Lietkabelis from Lithuania
Hapoel Jerusalem Head Coach Oded Katash discussed Tuesday night’s Basketball Champions League game against Lietkabelis in Tuesday night 21:00 Israel time:
“Even though we’ve been playing well, it doesn’t mean anything as this is a brand new game. It was great to win in Athens but we are playing a good team tomorrow and it will be very tough.”
More about the Lithuanian side:
“Anytime you face a Lithuanian team you know that they know how to play. They can shoot, grab the offensive rebound, smart and size. They are dangerous and if we let them play their game we will have a tough time. If we come into the game with the same energy and get them out of their rhythm then we will have an easier time.”
About Paulius Valinskas:
“He’s a key player and we just spoke about him in our video session. But it’s not just him. They are a smart team and can play well together and we have to bring our A game and intensity especially since this is our last home game before four on the road.”
Maccabi Tel Aviv Head Coach Neven Spahija looked ahead to the CSKA Euroleague game on Tuesday night at 21:00 Israel time:
“I don’t know how much we are ready for this game, but I definitely believe we will be one step forward than the Panathinaikos game. We will play that game without Jeremy Pargo and Kendrick Ray which creates the problem of the lack of playmaking but we will not give up because of that. We prepared how to play when Scottie is on the bench.”
More about CSKA:
“Everyone knows how deep CSKA is but we want to play hard, strong, tough and better defense and learn from the Panathinaikos game.”
