Hapoel Holon 81-72 Hapoel Eilat
Hapoel Holon not only clinched a spot in the Israel Basketball Winner League Final Four but also got back their Allstar forward Glen Rice Jr. as he returned to Israel and was activated by the team.
Rice Jr. was levied a two game suspension by the Israel Basketball Association for hitting teammate Guy Pnini after a game a couple of months ago and was thrown off of the team. It’s still unknown if he will be able to play in the semifinal against Hapoel Jerusalem slated for Monday at 21:00 at the Menora Mivtachim Arena.
Tomorrow, the League will be holding its annual Season Awards Ceremony that will also be attended by all of the players on the four teams participating in the Final Four, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Holon.
And there was a basketball game as well. Tu Holloway (22p), Jordan Hamilton (16p) and Joe Alexander led Holon to the win while Jordan Loyd dropped 17 points for Eilat.
