Hapoel Beer Sheva 2:1 Beitar Jerusalem

The southern side moved back into first place after defeating Beitar Jerusalem at the Toto-Turner Stadium on goals by Maor Bozaglo and Tony Nwaekame to capture the three points on Matchday 20. Captain Eliyaniv Barda broke through the Beitar defense and found Bozaglo on the border of being off side as he scored his third goal of the campaign. In the 52nd minute Mahran Radi lifted a corner kick that Maor Melikson headed to Nwaekame who found the back of the goal to give his side the win. Dusan Matovic pulled one back for the visitors in 92nd minute but it was too little too late.

Maccabi Haifa 0:1 Kiryat Shemona

Austin Amutu continued his fine form scoring the lone goal of the match heading in his 5th goal in four matches. Yossi Benayoun was stonewalled by Mahdi Zoabi twice as the Greens captain tried in vain to find a point for the hosts.

Hapoel Raanana 3:1 Hapoel Akko

After a scoreless first half which saw Rene Mihelic miss a 41st minute penalty for Raanana the flood gates opened in the second frame with 4 goals. Mihelic made up for his missed penalty handing out to assists to Ben Vahaba on a corner kick and to Barak Badash to give his side a 2:0 lead. But Akko cut the lead as Guy Dayan made it 2:1. However Evans Kangwa scored an insurance marker to gave his team the 3:1 win.

Bnei Yehuda 1:0 Hapoel Haifa

Yossi Mizrachi’s side picked up the three points on Saturday afternoon at Bloomfield Stadium. The lone goal scorer, Amir Agaev helped his side collect the win with a terrific individual effort in the 63rd minute.

Bnei Sakhnin 1:0 Hapoel Tel Aviv

The pupil defeated the master as Yossi Akusis beat Eli Gutman at Doha Stadium. Feras Maghabeh scored in the second half off of a short pass by Shlomi Azulay to give his side the valuable victory and send the Reds to yet another defeat and a match without a goal.

Hapoel Kfar Saba 1:0 Maccabi Netanya

Sharon Mimer, the Kfar Saba coach keeps working wonders as his side won yet again this time defeating Menachem Koretzky making his debut for Netanya. A 6th minute penalty by Ran Itzhak was all the Greens needed as his spot kick was a retaken kick after Hugo Lopez had seemingly given his side the lead but players had entered the box too early.
