Bnei Sakhnin 1:2 Maccabi Haifa

The Greens got back onto the winning track with a 2:1 away victory at Doha Stadium. Captain Yossi Benayoun scored in the first half for Haifa and Eliran Atar doubled the score from Taleb Tawhatha pass in the second half. Shlomi Azulay cut the lead to 2:1 for Sakhnin while Hen Ezra missed a monster opportunity with minutes left to cement the win.

Maccabi Netanya 1:0 Hapoel Tel Aviv

In a match that the referee Daniel Bar Natan stole the show the two sides ended up splitting the points in a 1:1 draw. Netanya’s Omer Vered was sent off on a questionable red card in the 6th minute and Eyad Abu Abaid was sent off for the Reds in the 79th minute as a pie of goals were sandwiched in between. Romario Pires scored a late first half penalty kick goal to give the Diamond City team a lead. However, Siraj Nasr scored a on gorgeous free kick to gain his side one-point.

Hapoel Haifa 1:0 Beitar Jerusalem

Haifa struck first when Adrien Rotchet’s pass to Zarko Korac was headed to Maaran Lala who headed it himself into the Beitar goal to take a 1:0 lead. But with Beitar pressing throughout the second half, Nikita Rukavytsya slammed home a beauty of a strike to even the match up as the sides each took home 1-point for their efforts.

Bnei Yehuda 1:1 Maccabi Petach Tikva

Guy Melamed gave the visitors a 1:0 lead on a terrific individual effort as the striker skipped by a number of Bnei Yehuda players to score from inside the box. However, veteran star Pedro Galvan tied up the score in the 83nd minute on a 20 meter shot beating keeper Itamar Nitzan as the sides split the points.

Hapoel Kfar Saba 0:1 Hapoel Akko

Akko scored a 57th minute header goal by Ahmed Kassoum off a beautiful pass from Zion Tzemach to pick up the three points and the win. Akko hasn’t won since Matchday 11 back in November.
