The Yellow & Blue defeated Hapoel Raanana 4:1 at the Netanya Stadium on Matchday 3 of the Israel Premier League Ligat Japanika thanks to goals by Itay Shechter, Chico Ofoedu and a brace by Eliran Atar. Raanana scored their lone marker on an own goal by Sheran Yeini off of a corner kick.

Hapoel Haifa 2:2 Beitar Jerusalem
The Yellow & Black are still looking for their first win of the season after drawing 2:2 against the Carmel Reds. Radu Ginsari opened the scoring in the 28′ while Idan Vered drew Jerusalem even 11 minutes later. Lior Einbrom gave the visitor’s the lead in the 63′ but Ben Azubel helped the sides split the points when he headed the ball behind Dudu Goresh for his first touch with Hapoel Haifa five minutes later.

Josip Ivancic scored a 12’ goal for the host’s that stood up for the full 90 minutes to give Ashdod the win over the defending champions Beer Sheva.

Firas Mugrabi found the back of the goal in the 73’ for Bnei Sahknin, but a 93’ own goal by Ihab Ganaem split the points as the Tel Aviv Reds took one point home.

Maccabi Petah Tikva 1:1 Hapoel Hadera
Salim Amash gave the visitor’s a 1:0 63’ lead but Gidi Kanuk scored his second of the season in the 84’ to split the points.

Kiryat Shemona 1:1 Maccabi Netanya
Levi Garcia scored a tremendous second half goal to hand the points to Kiryat Shemona for their first win of the season.

Yarden Shua scored for the host’s after Greens keeper coughed up the ball while Georges Mandjeck drew Haifa even as the teams each took 1 point.
