Maccabi Tel Aviv 93-75 Hapoel Holon
Zan Tabak’s side continued its Israeli League run with an 18 point victory over Holon. With four players in double digits Ike Ofoegbu led the Yellow-and-Blue with 17 points as youngster Dragan Bender scored 16 in 29 minutes of play. Ramel Bradley’s 27 points and Mike Moser’s 21 were nor enough in the loss.
Nes Ziona 77-109 Hapoel Jerusalem
The Reds our the smack down away at Nes Ziona as five players featured in double digits including Lior Eliyahu who paid up a double-double scoring 8 points and handing our 12 assists. Josh Duncan scored 21 points for Hapoel as Ivan Aska scored 20 points for Nes Ziona.
Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion 71-73 Bnei Herzliya
Drew Crawford’s 20 points helped Herzliya to victory while Mark Luons led Rishon 19 points as the visitors now find themselves in third place just behind Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Jerusalem.
Nahariya 63-71 Hapoel Tel Aviv
The Reds finally got off the brutal slide they were in over the past few weeks with a complete 8-point win away up north in Nahariya. John Williamson picked up a double-double scoring 12 points while pulling down 11 boards as Robert Rothbart dripped 15 points in the win. Youngster Tamir Blatt, son of Cleveland coach David Blatt surprised with 11 points for the victors as Richard Howell had a 15-15 points-rebounds double-double in a losing effort.
Hapoel Eilat 82-78 Maccabi Ashdod
Khalif Wyatt scored 23 points for Eilat and Alade Aminu chipped in with 19 as the seaside town defeating the visiting Ashdod team who received 28 points from Diante Garrett in the loss.
