Hapoel Tel Aviv won a rough and tumble battle 69-60 over Hapoel Eilat at the Drive In Arena in Tel Aviv. Jordan Davis starred in the win with 26 points, Yam Madar added 12 points and Sek Henry scored 11 points in the win. Rafi Menco with 15 points and Ben Carter with 13 points and 14 rebounds led Eilat in the loss.
Maccabi Haifa punched their ticket to the postseason with a 99-92 win at Maccabi Ashdod. The Greens were without Jerai Grant and Andrew Andrews and fell into a 6 point hole at halftime, but Reggie Upshaw led the way to help Coach Daniel Seoane take the victory and head into the playoffs. Upshaw ended the game with 25 points and 9 rebounds, Willy Workman added 19 points and 11 boards while Roman Sorkin scored 18 points in the win. Jairus Holder scored 21 points, Alex Chubrevich added 16 points and 14 rebounds while Paul Stoll chipped in 15 points and 14 assists in the defeat.
Nes Ziona recorded a huge 91-89 win over Nahariya up north as Nadav Zilberstein’s squad catapulted into a a playoff spot in a tight contest. Veteran guard Raviv Limonad starred in the win with 13 points and 10 assists, Rayvonte Rice scored 21 points, Golan Gutt chipped in with 14 points and Cam Oliver added 12 points. Dominic Waters led Nahariya with 20 points, Ivan Almeida scored 14 points and Niv Misgav added 12 points in the loss.
Hapoel Gilboa Galil defeated Hapoel Beer Sheva 83-65 to out a dent in Rami Hadar’s playoff hopes with two games remaining in the regular season. Iftach Ziv starred for Lior Lubin’s team with 21 points, 7 boards, 6 assists and 5 steals, Joe Thomasson had 19 points and Tim Coleman notched 13 points in the win. Paul Delaney and Evan Bruinsma scored 12 points and Ben Eisenhardt added 10 points in the loss.
