Ben Saraf, Kiryat Ata’s the 17-year-old star, has been invited to the prestigious NBA “Basketball Without Borders” which will be held during the All-Star Weekend in Indiana, The Sports Rabbi has learned. The 6’5 point guard has made a terrific debut in Israel’s top league, averaging 9.7 points, 3.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 22.7 minutes per game, will participate in the camp that is under the auspices of both the NBA and FIBA that is being held between February 16-18 in Indianapolis.

Saraf has already been a participant in the Euroleague Next Generation Tournament over the past two years and impressed to earn the invitation that very few Israelis have received in the past including the first Sabra in the NBA Omri Caspi as well as current Washington Wizards star Deni Avdija. The opportunity to feature in the “Basketball Without Borders” camp will no doubt raise the up and coming star’s profile as he looks towards playing in the world’s greatest league as he will be eligible to enter the 2025 draft which will take place at the end of the 2024-25 season.
