Shawn Dawson is a young talent who will get a chance to shine with the Israel Team at Eurobasket 2017. The 23-year old shooting guard/small forward will begin his first season with Bnei Herzliya after playing 5 years with Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion.

Loving the chance:
“I am loving this chance as it’s always been my dream to play for the Israel National
Team. I have been looking up to these guys my entire life and I am so glad to now be a part of it especially that the EuroBasket is here in Israel.”

The upcoming month:
“The next month is very important for all of us because it will reflect what will be in the EuroBasket for us. So every moment counts.”

The tourney in Israel:
“It’s huge since it’s the biggest European tournament. To have it here in Israel is very big for the whole country and I hear it will be a big production so everyone is excited and looking forward to it. I can’t wait.”

“We just have to play our game, execute our game plan, play together and have fun out there.”
