Israeli Judoka Sagi Muki defeated Matthias Casse to become the World Champion in the -81kg category on Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan. This is the first time Netanya native won a gold at the World Championships and is primed for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games just one year away. After winning his semifinal bout against Mohamed Abdelaal, the Egyptian refused to shake Muki’s hand and walked away, similar to what happened to Ori Sasson at the 2016 Rio Olympics Games in which he won a Silver medal. Check out some of the great photos and videos below!
