1) There’s not question that one of Israel’s premier athletes on the rise is rhythmic gymnast Linoy Ashram and The Sports Rabbi’s Friday Jerusalem Post piece is all about the starlet. Ashram has won a plethora of medals over the past year and picked up a silver and bronze just this week in the World Championships. Recently retired Neta Rivkin also spoke to The Sports Rabbi about Ashram and believes the sky’s the limit. Check it out!
2) Israel may have fallen to Georgia last night in FIBA World Cup qualifying action but there’s plenty of hope in the Blue & White camp as Yovel Zoosman who won a gold medal with the Under-20 Israel team at this past summer’s European Championships is reaching for the stars. Make sire to read “It’s all Zoos, Israel Youth Movement, Shengelia Interview & More!” Not only do I analyze Zoosman but I also have an exclusive interview with one of Europe’s premier players, Tornike, “Toko” Shengelia.
