Maccabi Haifa broke a long standing hex against them in away matches against Maccabi Tel Aviv defeating the Yellow & Blue 2:0 at the Netanya Stadium. Ex-Maccabi striker Eliran Atar scored a first half goal while Gary Kagelmacher launched a late second half scorcher to seal the win. Haifa was severely outshot but Maccabi couldn’t find a way past young keeper Omri Glazer.

In a tough away match, Ben Sahar starred scoring both goals for Barak Bachar’s team who moved into first place thanks to a better goal differential than Maccabi Tel Aviv as the Yellow & Blue visit Toto Turner Stadium in the southern city on Sunday.
Bnei Yehuda 1:4 Maccabi Petach Tikva
Arik Benado coached his last game as Bnei Yehuda boss falling to Petach Tikva 4-1 in a lopsided match at the Moshava Stadium. Gidi Kanuk continued to show why he is one of the hottest players around the league scoring a brilliant goal to start the deluge at the home side goal. Mihai Roman scored the next two giving the Blues an insurmountable lead. Bnei Yehuda pulled one back thanks to Alon Turgeman but Muhamed Calibat sealed the deal in the 88th minute.

Tel Aviv Head Coach Guy Luzon picked up his 2nd win in three matches dominating Hapoel Haifa at Sammy Ofer Stadium. A free kick goal by Omri Altman and an additional marker by Edi Gotlieb helped the Reds to the victory and three points.
Hapoel Asheklon 0:1 Bnei Sakhnin
A second half goal by Yuval Abidor gave the visiting Sakhnin side the win over Yuval Naim and his Ashkelon outfit.
