The Israeli Women’s National team faced off against Greece in the group stages of the women’s Eurobasket qualifier. In a must win game for Israel, WNBA star Alysha Clark willed her team to a 65-63 victory while leading the team in every major statistical category. Knowing the importance of this game, Coach Adan Inbar opted not to sub Clark out a single time. In 40 minutes of play, Clark had 27 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks. With only two players other than Clark scoring in the double figures it’s clear Israel will go as far as she can take them. Great Britain (ranked 21st in the World in Fiba rankings) visits Israel tonight for the side’s second qualifier in just five days and Israeli fans will hope for another dominant outing from Alysha Clark if they have any chance of coming out on top.
