Israel faces Great Britain

​In their most recent qualifying game Israel was blown out by Greece 82-61. Now sitting in second place in Group H of the European qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA World Cup, they will be facing last place Great Britain at home in Tel Aviv. To this point, Israeli center Richard Howell has been their most important player and leads the way in every major offensive statistical category with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Israel currently ranks as 37th in the world, and is second in the world in team rebounds per game.

Yovel Zoosman and Nimrod Levy will be making their debuts while veterans Guy Pnini and Raviv Limonad make their return to the Blue & White. Gal Mekel, Avi Ben Chimol, Shawn Dawson, Rafi Menco, Tomer Ginat, Idan Zalmonson and Joaquin Szuchman round out the rest of the squad.
