“We were in control of the game from the beginning through the end,” Hapoel Tel Aviv Head Coach Dimitrios Itoudis began. “We had some significant lapses on the defensive end in the last five minutes in the second quarter where we gave up 23 points which was too much. LeDay hurt us and hit some amazing shots, but we changed our defense no limited their guards which is what we did.”

Dan Oturu reflected on the win, “We played well and we won the game and we just got to keep the positive mindset and just keep going. The crowd was great and the atmosphere was awesome. I’m happy the fans turned out and I’m happy that we won for them.“

But we just stayed down, we stayed working in practice, working on our defense and offensive points and we got the win. Milano is a good team and we really watched a lot of film this week and was pretty confident going into the game that we would get the win.”
