Hapoel Tel Aviv slipped by Paris 89-88 as Tyler Ennis hit a pair of critical free throws and Elijah Bryant snatched the key board to help secure the win. The Reds swept the Euroleague Double Week to bump their record up to 4-1 on the season as they will next face Monaco this coming Thursday.
Tipping off for the first time since their days in the EuroCup back in January 2024, the game was played at a frantic pace as Dimitrios Itoudis used ten of his charges for at least 14 minutes a piece while Dan Oturu put in a monster of a performance and Tomer Ginat hit a couple of key 3-pointers to secure the win in France. Antonio Blakeney, Vasilije Micic, Elijah Bryant and Johnathan Motley all scored in double figures as former Paris forward Collin Malcolm drained a pair of triples as well in the victory.

Oturu scored 18 points, Micic added 12 points while Motley and Blakeney each scored 11 points in the win while Nadir Hifi dropped 23 points in the loss.
“I would like to congratulate my team,” Reds bench boss Dimitrios Itoudis said. “We proved that we have a deep roster. The game could have gone either way, but we kept believing in what we were doing. We had to dig, dig, dig deep into the bench. Tyler did a great job, AB did a great job, everybody who came in helped the starters. That is how we build character. Togetherness!”

Paris Head coach Francesco Tabellini spoke about the game from his point of view, “For sure, we could have done something different, but we’ll watch the game and try to get better. The game changed when Collin Malcolm made those two threes and in that moment we missed a couple of good looks. That’s basketball, sometimes it hurts and we’ll deal with the pain.”
Johnathan Motley shared his thoughts on the win, “They have a great team, they play hard and play together so we had to match that intensity. We’ve got a lot of players, so we have to sacrifice, help each other and be good when our name is called, I think we’re doing a good job.”
