Hapoel Beer Sheva and Dinamp Zagreb played to a goalless draw as the sides split the points to open up their Europa League campaign. The southern reds had multiple chances throughout the clash to find the back of the goal but couldn’t find a way to beat the Croatian club’s keeper as the match ended with the club’s taking a point a piece for their efforts.

Beer Sheva Head Coach Ran Kozuk summed up the match and praised his players, “We played an excellent game. We needed to be better with our decision-making inside the box. We created situations that our players know how to score from.”

“The pitch hurt us a little bit and the players complained about it. Everyone who comes on and gets minutes delivers. We can take confidence from this into the next stages. I don’t remember seeing such dominance by an Israeli club over a team of Dinamo Zagreb’s caliber.”
