Maccabi Tel Aviv guard Jimmy Clark landed back in Israel for the start of training camp and met up with the fans who greeted him at Ben Gurion Airport. The guard also spent a few minutes looking ahead to the upcoming season as well.
“Last year, I showed what I could bring to the table and what I could bring to this team. So now I’ll be just trying to build on that and bring more this year so we can have a winning season and accomplish something great.”

As for taking the next step in Euroleague play, Clark added what he thought would be the keys to success, “Just attention to detail and more focus. I feel like we have a good core group of guys that’s coming back. So I feel like we go off the guys that were already back and add to what we already have. I think we’ll be great. Just to be the best version of myself and do everything that I can, whether that’s on offense or defense or just diving for a loose ball. So I’m just trying to be able to make sure I’m the best version of myself this season and bring everything I got for the team the whole season.”
Yam Madar was a player that Clark faced last season and now he’s a teammate on Maccabi, “It’s great, especially having another guy that’s big in Israel, one of the best players out here. So it’s good to have another guy along that’s going to play well with me. So can’t wait for it.”

Clark also spoke about the goals for the campaign ahead, “Just try to win again. Just have a winning season, a better start. I feel like we got to a slow start last year. So I feel like our main focus this year is just start coming out the gate, getting those wins and just playing together and building what we want.”
