Maccabi Tel Aviv Head Coach Oded Katash spoke about the game that was, “Very disappointing, we expected more. We knew that Paris was a strong team and they exposed our weaknesses, which mainly stem from time and understanding and the ability to play together. That will come with time. When they had their runs, we didn’t show enough character in terms of commitment.”
TJ Leaf also spoke at the end of the contest, “It was a weird game and they played pretty crazy basketball. We started out well and then they opened up a gap. We’re going to go back to work and we will focus on that. We have a very important game coming up and we’re going to have to put these two losses behind us and come back stronger to win.”
Jeff Dowtin Jr. said, “I think we need to look at how we played and how we defended and get better. We’re going to have ups and downs throughout the season, it’s not going to be easy. We need to get better as a team and focus on the next game to make the season better.”
