Jerusalem & Holon find out Champions League Group Stage foes, Hapoel Tel Aviv readies for qualifiers

Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Holon found out who they will be playing in continental action on Wednesday as the Champions League held a group draw to determine the Israeli team’s opponents. Hapoel Tel Aviv also found out who they will play in the qualifying rounds in order to enter the tournament.

Jerusalem will play in Group C of the competition with Oostende (BEL), Turk Telekom (TUR), Burgos (SPA), Brindisi (ITA), Limoges (FRA), Darussafaka (TUR) and the winner of (Igokea/U-BT Cluj-Napoca) v (Sporting CP/Fribourg Olympic).

Hapoel Holon will be in Group D with Bamberg (GER), AEK (GRE), Karsiyaka (TUR), Bilbao (SPA), Cholet (FRA), Fortitudo Bologna (ITA) and the winner of (Balkan Botevgrad/Tsmoki-Minsk) v (London Lions/Neptunas Klaipeda)

Hapoel Tel Aviv will face Bakken Bears from Denmark on September 15 in Israel & September 18 on the road. Should the Reds pass that test they will then play the winner of Mons/Anwil on 22/9 & 25/9. If they are victorious they will enter Group A of the competition.
