Wizards fall to Knicks, Avdija comes off bench with solid performance

The Washington Wizards fell to the New York Knicks 109-91 as Israeli forward Deni Avdija scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in the defeat. The Knicks jumped out to a 53-42 halftime lead and never looked back as Julius Randle led the way with 24 points and 18 boards in the win. Russell Westbrook came just one rebound shy of a triple double as the former MVP scored 23 points and added 10 assists to his 9 boards.


Deni Avdija checked in with 22 minutes going 1/5 from downtown and added a dunk while turning over the ball twice in the loss. The Boston Celtics will visit the Wizards at 8pm (Israel time) after falling to the Detroit Pistons 108-102.
