With the addition of Israeli sensation Deni Avdija to the Washington Wizards with the 9th pick of this season’s NBA Draft, the club has opened up a Hebrew language Twitter account.

The account @washwizardsil will provide Hebrew language updates to fans around the world and within just a couple of days has already close to 6,000 followers. Coming off of the success of the Japanese Twitter account that was opened last season when Rui Hachimura joined the team, the Wizards are hopeful to continue becoming a truly intentional franchise.
Also, the Deni Avdija met with the Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer at Capital One Arena where they exchanged pleasantries and Chanukah greetings.
