1) Four Toto cup matches took place over the weekend:
Bnei Yehuda defeated Hapoel Ra’anana 4:2 thanks to goals by Yarden Shua 2’, Daniel Felscher 25’, Dolev Haziza 61’ and Mavis Tchibota 77’ while Martin Alainz (53’) and Ido levy (73’) answered for Ra’anana.
Maccabi Netanya took down Hapoel Eran Hadera 3:2. Dia Saba bagged a brace (30’ and 71’) while Aviv Avraham (45’) added a goal for the Diamond City Squad. Menashe Zalka (3’) and Lucielmo Palhano Soares (7’) scored for Hadera.
Maccabi Haifa got by Hapoel Kiryat Shmona 3:2. Ofir Arad scored the winner in the 85′ as Michiel Kramer (19’) and Nikita Rukavytsya (53’) also found the back of the goal. Nigel Hasselbaink scored a brace for Kiryat Shmona (38’ and 48’) in the loss.
Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Petah Tikva drew 1:1. Manor Solomon (13′) scored for Petah Tikva while Ahmad Abed (29′) found the back of the goal for the Reds.

2) Maccabi Tel Aviv faces Pyunik on Tuesday at 19:00 Israel Time in the first leg of third round Europa League qualifying. Head Coach Vladimir Ivic spoke ahead of the contest, “We began preparing for Pyunik after the previous round against Radnicki and we had a few days to analyze and to obtain information. This is the most successful club in Armenia with the most titles and they have the same target every year. My coaching staff is ready for these two games. Our target is to win.”
3) The Europa League held their Playoff Round Draw to determine who the Israeli teams remaining in the competition could face should they advance:
