Today, Wednesday October 6 at 7pm Israel Time, 1pm EST the sports world will never be the same as “The Sports Rabbi”, Josh Halickman hits the airwaves for the first time with his own show.
“The Sports Rabbi” on Israel Sports radio.com will be joined by Mark Pollock, another sports guru for the initial broadcast of “The Sports Rabbi”!

On the first installment of “The Sports Rabbi” Josh will welcome in The King of Jewish Radio, Nachum Segal. Nachum has been hosting JM in the AM for over 27 years on WFMU 91.1 FM on the radio dial in New York. Nachum also has a slew of other Jewish programming going on at Nachum Segal.com.
Those who know Nachum are familiar with his love of sports, especially the New York Yankees! We are honored to have Nachum as the first guest 10 minutes or so into the show!
Doc Ike our NHL Analyst and expert will follow Nachum in a weekly feature on “The Sports Rabbi” as we go around the NHL as we are just about to begin the season Thursday night. Doc Ike will bring his vast Hockey knowledge to the show and try to stump the audience with a super tough trivia question.
At 7:45pm Israel time we will welcome Ailene Voisin, columnist at the Sacramento Bee newspaper. Ailene has been covering the Kings the past decade and will give all of our listeners the inside scoop as the Kings played their first pre season game last night. Tune into Ailene and find out how Omri Casspi fared!
Warren Cromartie, former Montreal Expos, Kansas City Royals and yes Yomiuri Giants baseball player will be on to share his experiences around the Majors and in Japan. Find out why Warren decided to go overseas and ply his trade. The “Cro” is busy working on many projects including bringing minor league baseball back to Montreal, turn us on to find out how that is going.
And then at 8:30pm Israel time, 2:30pm back in New York, we will have a very special guest. The radio voice of the New York Rangers, NFL & MLB on Fox’s Kenny Albert!
Kenny Albert has been broadcasting sports for two decades as he began his career doing play by play for the Baltimore Skipjacks hockey team of the AHL.
Kenny is known to be one of the most talented, professional, flexible and friendly broadcasters in the business.
