Haifa kept pace with Maccabi Tel Aviv by snatching the victory in the dying seconds on Andrii Pyliavskyi goal in the 94th minute goal. Bnei Yehuda playing admirably head back with their coach Dror Kashtan to the Tikvah neighborhood empty handed.

Beitar Jerusalem 1-2 Hapoel Ramat Gan
Beitar continued its poor league form losing to Ramat Gan 2-1 at home. Beitar has not won in the league since January 21, 2013 when they dominated Hapoel Tel Aviv at Bloomfield Stadium 2-0, of course this being before the addition of the Chechnyan Muslims Zaur Sadaev & Djibril Kadayev. Ramat Gan was led by Israel Zaguri, David Manga & Michael Zandberg. Scoring for Beitar was Avi Rikan who will be representing Israel on the pitch against Portugal on Friday.

Hapoel Haifa 3-0 Maccabi Netanya
Hapoel Haifa continued its strong play with another victory to move the club up to 9th place and 4 points clear of the relegation zone. Yuval Avidor had a huge night with an assist on Ma’aran Al Lala’s mark in the 7th minute and added a pair of goals himself in the 11th & 39th minutes to give the northern club their 6th straight game with at least a point. Ahad Azam was the man of the match as 4,000 rabid fans looked on!

Maccabi Tel Aviv 1-0 Ramat HaSharon
Maccabi Tel AViv extended its top of the table lead by defeating the surprise of the season Ramat HaSharon 1-0 on Rada Prica’s 6th goal of the season. This was the Sweedish International’s 153rd goal on an assist by rapidly maturing Eliran Atar. Italian Adrian Fernandez was Ramat HaSharon’s top player for coach Beni Tabak’s side as they set to regroup with their next match in two weeks against Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Ironi Kiryat Shemona 0-1 Hapoel Tel Aviv
Hapoel Tel Aviv visiting Israel’s most northern most club got off their recent slide with a slim 1-0 victory over last year’s reigning champions. Youngster Eden Shrem scored his second league goal & Apoula Edel was the star of the show as Kiryat Shemona had 16 chances on goal and couldn’t put one behind the Cameroonian ‘keeper.

FC Ashdod 1-2 Hapoel Akko
Akko scored the surprise win over Ashdod with Ohad Kadusi notching his 12th goal of the campaign and Tamir Kahlon picking up his 4th of the season. Bulgarian Dimitar Makriev picked up his 9th goal for Ashdod in the loss.

Hapeol Beer Sheva 1-2 Bnei Sahknin
Mohamd Kalebat was the star of the show with a brace for Bnei Sahknin as he gives new coach Marko Babul his first win. Nicolas Falzcuk picked up a goal for struggling Beer Sheva who have been a disappointment all year long under coach Elisha Levi. Israel Under-21 fans are looking forward to seeing Kalebat this summer as this rising star will have a chance to show his ware on a world stage.
