Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion will play in the EuroCup this coming season. Hapoel Jerusalem had played many seasons in the EuroCup but moved to the FIBA Champions League this past campaign leaving a void of Blue & White teams in the competition. Guy Goodes will look to guide the Wine City squad to continental glory against top teams including Kazan, Malaga, Venice, Bologna and Monaco. Rishon will return to Europe after a two year absence when they played in the Europe Cup back in 2015/16.

Jake Cohen will once again ply his trade for Maccabi Tel Aviv as the Israeli forward will begin his 5th season with the Yellow & Blue after re-signing with the club. The 28-year old posted 7.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in 33 Israel Basketball Winner League games while shooting 44.9% from beyond the arc. In Euroleague action, Cohen averaged 2.9 points in 25 games.
“I’m thrilled to be back at Maccabi, especially after winning back to back championships,” Cohen told the club’s official website. “I’ve had some great memories here and I’m excited to create more next year. It’s really special, not a lot of players are able to say that they have played for a club like Maccabi for such a long time. It really means the world to me, I don’t take it for granted”.
Joaquin Szuchman moved south to Hapoel Tel Aviv after playing with Hapoel Gilboa/Galil and signed a 2-year contract with the Reds. The 24-year old averaged 7.9 points last season under Coach Ariel Beit Halachmi who he is now reunited with in Tel Aviv. “I’m excited to join Hapoel Tel Aviv and I’m excited to play in front of thousands of fans at their home arena.”
Gil Amitay signed with Maccabi Haifa, Amit Gershon joined Hapoel Gilboa/Galil after playing with Hapoel Beer Sheva last season while Tony Gaffney is reunited with Danny Franco in Nahariya after playing this past year in Italy.
Almog Cohen returns from Germany and officially joins Maccabi Netanya. After 6 six seasons with Ingolstadt and three with Nurnberg, the midfielder rejoins Netanya where he played between 2007-2010.
David Keltjens signed a 5-year deal with Hapoel Beer Sheva after spending last season with Beitar Jerusalem.
Shay Konstantin joined Beitar Jerusalem after playing with Bnei Yehuda last season and Ramzi Safuri signed with Hapoel Beer Sheva.
