Hapoel Holon had s slew of players who landed this past weekend as Predrag Krunic’s club begins training camp for the upcoming season in earnest. Greg Lee, Claudell Harris Jr., Andrew Thelwell, Rivaldo Soares and Brandon Jones Jr. all arrived in Israel, joining Adama Sanogo who already landed earlier last week for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

After collecting their luggage and walking into the arrivals hall with fans dancing and singing, the players gave their initial thoughts about the upcoming campaign.

Greg Lee said, “I’m really excited to be here and I’m looking forward to meeting and working with the team and my teammates. My expectations are to win as many games as possible for the Hapoel Holon fans and for the entire club and organization. To our fans, I want to say that you’ll see us step onto the court, compete, fight and give everything we have in every single game.”

His new teammate, Claudell Harris Jr. added, “I’m very excited to be part of the Hapoel Holon family. I’ve heard so many great things about the people and the city of Holon. I want to bring the fans plenty of wins, joy and unforgettable moments throughout the season.”

Andrew Thelwell wasa sure to share his thoughts as well, “I’m excited and grateful to join Hapoel Holon. I’ve heard great things about the club, its history and especially the passion of the fans, and I’m looking forward to experiencing that atmosphere firsthand.”

On his expectations for the season, he said, “My expectations for this season are simple: to work hard every day, help the team win and continue improving alongside my teammates. I can’t wait to meet everyone and be part of the Hapoel Holon family. To all the fans, I promise to give everything I have every time I step onto the court. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you soon. Let’s have a great season together!”

Rivaldo Soares also spoke about the season at hand, “I’m excited and grateful to join Hapoel Holon. From everything I’ve heard, this is a club with a winning culture, amazing fans and high ambitions. I’m looking forward to embracing the challenge of competing and playing at the highest level and doing everything I can to help this team succeed.”

Lastly, Brandon Jones Jr. said, “It feels great to arrive at Hapoel Holon. I’m very excited to be part of this team and the journey toward the upcoming season. I expect us to be a tough team that puts in the effort, works hard and is able to face many challenges together throughout the season. The wonderful fans are also a huge addition to the team! I can’t wait to play in front of you and feel all your energy and passion as we all fight together.”
