Hapoel Tel Aviv arrived in Israel after holding a training camp in Bulgaria that was attended by both the import and Israeli players. Head Coach Stefanos Dedas was able to get to know his squad that features many news faces including Patrick Beverley who was without a doubt the biggest signing for not only the Reds but in the entire league.
The NBA guard stepped out into the arrivals hall at Ben Gurion Airport and was mobbed by his adoring fans who made sure to show up in full force to give Beverley a hero’s welcome. In song and dance the Hapoel Tel Aviv supporters were thrilled to not only see the star guard but also the rest of the squad from Johnathan Motley, Ish Wainwright, Joe Ragland, Marcus Foster, Ben Bentil as well as captain Bar Timor and Tomer Ginat.
Beverley’s arrival in Israel made headlines across the globe and was picked by ESPN, NBA Central and many other outlets.
