Jon Nyatawa out of Omaha joined The Sports Rabbi to talk about Maccabi Tel Aviv’s new signing Khyri Thomas as he comes to Israel from Bilbao via the NBA and Creighton University. We look at what Thomas offers the Yellow & Blue and where he can make an impact in his upcoming debut.

Another former Creighton standout Maurice Watson who just joined Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion was next up for us to talk about as the guard will be needed to be the top of the top to help his team over the second half of the Israeli league season.

Next up was Dov Halickman as we looked ahead to Hapoel Jerusalem’s big Champions League Play In series with Prometey as well as Hapoel Holon’s second game at Besiktas with new head coach Guy Goodes on the sidelines. We also spoke about how COVID is causing havoc on the Israel State Cup Quarterfinals as well as the women’s basketball league.
