Maccabi Tel Aviv overwhelmed Hapoel Jerusalem 3-0 as the Yellow & Blue took the points and the win at Teddy Stadium. Djorde Jovanovic opened the scoring in a goal in the 40th minute while Eran Zahavi doubled the advantage with a brilliant free kick that squeezed by the right post while Eyal Golasa scored the third marker to take the victory.
Maccabi blanked Hapoel 1-0 in the Haifa Derby as a second half own goal by Hatem El Hamed who was later issued a red card for a reckless play did in the Carmel reds as the greens took the points.
Hapoel Tel Aviv defeated Beitar Jerusalem 2-1 at Bloomfield Stadium to take the win and the points. Alen Ozbolt opened this scoring early in the first half for the Reds but Dan Einbiner’s own gaol gave the visitors life as they grew even at 1-1 ahead of the break. However, Niv Zrihen’s 84th minute goal was the winner as Slobodan Drapic snatched the late win.
Nes Ziona and Bnei Reineh played to a very entertaining 3-3 draw that saw Reineh come all the way back from 3-1 deficit to knot the score up as each side took a point.
Maccabi Netanya slipped by Kiryat Shemona 1-0 as Liran Rotman scored the lone goal of the game in the 26th minute to give the diamond city side the win.
Hapoel Beer Sheva defeated Hapoel Hadera 3-0 to take the points. Majomed Suleymanov gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in the 45th minute while Sagiv Yehezkel’s header and Rotem Hatuel’s strike gave the southern reds the win.
Bnei Sahknin and Ashdod drew 1-1 as the sides split the points at Doha Stadium. Muhammed Knaan gave the port city side an early lead but Guy Melamed found the back of the goal in the 29th minute to earn a point a piece.
