“This is not the first time it happened to us in the second half [where we lost a lead],” Maccabi Tel Aviv Head Coach Oded Katash said. “It was a very high tempo game. Bayern are first in the Euroleague in attempts from 3 and in 3-pointers themselves and they hit some really tough shots. We were there and we were fighting. I really liked the way we played and the way we competed under the circumstances.”

“I think the sign of a good basketball team is when you don;t play well you find a way to win,” Bayern Munich Head Coach Gordon Herbert said. “They are a good offensive team and we tried some things defensively but we were passive and we gave up 30 points, that’s on me. When we were down by 15, Shabazz Napier and Devin Booker came in and made some plays and we rode their energy the last 15 minutes.”
