“We played really well offensively in the first half,” Maccabi head coach Oded Katash said. “Defensively we just weren’t good enough and weren’t focussed properly. Players who are playing need to understand what they need to do. We tried to split the minutes up from the get go which will allow us to do the same in other games as we maintain our fitness and level of execution on the court.”

Yovel Zoosman spoke about the game that was a well as his role, “I believe that I have more freedom to do what I know that I can do. Everything is up to me, especially the aggressiveness. Sometimes my shot goes in and it’s all about my mentality. We are only playing once a week and we are working very hard at practice. Those who have criticized me don’t see me every day and how hard that I work. I come back totally finished after practice and I do the best that I can in each and every one.”
