Maccabi Ramat Gan just slipped by Hapoel Galil Elyon 108-101 in a game of the season candidate as both teams couldn’t miss from deep throughout the 40 minutes. Maccabi Ramat Gan raced out to a quick 17-3 lead but that was when the fun began as Barak Peleg’s team came storming back with points from Omar Silevrio and James Feldeine who helped the hosts who were playing in Safed grab a 63-57 lead at halftime.

Karam Mashour and Isaiah Miles began to mount a second half comeback for the visitors but Roi Huber kept the hosts in front, however, Kendale McCullum came up big down the stretch plus soldi defensive stops made the difference as Ramat Gan took the victory.

Mashour and Miles led the way with 20 points each while McCullum added 17 points and 12 assists in the win. Silverio scored 29 points, Feldeidne chipped in with 27 points and Huber scored 22 points in the loss.

“This was a very important win for is and it was a terrific victory,” Ramat Gan coach Shmulik Brenner said. “The first half was crazy but we were able to hold down the fort and find our spots in the second half. We made aggressive switches to stop James Feldeine in the swooned half but they still hit some incredible 3-pointers. It wasn’t easy but I am happy that we were able to take the win.”
