Maccabi Haifa pounded Hapoel Haifa 5-1 to win the city derby thanks to a Dean David brace to go along with lone strikes by Omer Atzily, Dolev Haziza and Godsway Donyoh. Alen Ozbolt answered for the Reds in the lopsided Derby.
Hapoel Beer Sheva continued on their winning ways as Roni Levi’s squad downed Hapoel Tel Aviv 2-1 on a pair of penalties to take the 3-points. Nikita Rukavytsya opened the scoring it’s a spot kick in the 52nd minute, but Shay Elias drew Nir Klinger’s team even at 1-1 15 minutes later. However, Itay Shechter was tripped up in the box handing Eyad Abu Abid the winning penalty in the 79th minute to take the points.
Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Nof HaGalil played to a 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Stadium. Tal Ben Chaim sliced the ball into the goal to give the Yellow & Blue a 1-0 lead but Wahib Habiballa found the equalizer right before the break as the sides split the points.
Kiryat Shemona blanked Hapoel Jerusalem 1-0 as Stefan Milosevic scored in the 1st minute of the game and to snatch the 3-points.
Maccabi Petah Tikva and Hapoel Hadera played to a 1-1 draw as the sides split the points. Eitan Azulay gave Guy Luzon’s squad a 1-0 lead but the visitors quickly evened the score with an Omer Fadida strike earned each team a point a piece.
Ashdod slipped by Maccabi Netanya 1-0 on a first half Abdul Mugees goal as Ran Ben Shimon’s squad took the 3-points and the win.
Bnei Sakhnin dumped Beitar Jerusalem 2-0 in first half goals by Guy Melamed and Beram Kayal at Doha Stadium to earn the victory. Following the game head coach Erwin Koeman resigned and retired from coaching club teams.
