Club chairman Yaniv Mizrachi was at a loss for words after the semifinal, “When Selden hit that 3-pointer my heart went to a pace that it has never gone to. It was very emotional. Wayne is in a good place right now and he is getting used to European ball. He’s a great plater and we all knew that as he fought like a lion. As for Tal Dunne, he is writing his own history as to how he came back after his head opened up. He had staples put in and he’s a lion as well.”

Captain Tal Dunne spoke about the upcoming game, “It’s very exciting and we have to lower the euphoria a bit as we’ve only done half the work to reach our goal.”
“When I found out last week that my season may be done due to the injury I thought about the 1500 kids that play basketball in Nes Ziona. They see me as a role model and I wanted to show them that you can’t give up no matter what the situation and that you have to pay a price sometimes. You can never ever give up and I played for them, the club and the city. We want to do this.”

“This is a very big moment for the club, to have a chance to win a European title,” the club’s coach Brad Greenberg said. “Only two Israeli clubs have won continental championships and we are the this team that this battling for a title. This is a big deal for a relatively small club.”
“Every player loves to be in this situation and we’ve been playing well the last two weeks. We have the crowd behind them. We are all happy and smiling. Stal is a very good team and they are in the Polish league final. They are used to winning easily and have not lost in the Europe Cup and they are different than the team we met in Poland. This will be a very competitive game.”
