Kiryat Ata defeated Bnei Herzliya 93-78 as six players scored in double digits to help head coach Eldad Bentov’s team pick up their second win in a row. Silver De Sousa scored 19 points ad grabbed 13 rebounds, Chavaughn Lewis added 17 points and Yuval Sznajderman chipped in with 14 points in the win while Xavier Sneed scored 22 points and Ethan Burg put in 17 points in the loss.

“We really focussed on this game as it was very important for us,” Bentov said. “We have been improving week by week and we saw that in the win over Bnei Herzliya. We have been talking about how we can get the opposition off kilter all the time so we can take advantage of the situation and we saw that with how the players are giving it all.”

“We played a team that was tough and took a lot out of us,” Bnei Herzliya Head Coach Yehu Orland said. “They deserve a ton of credit for their efforts. We need to really go back and look how we started the game and how we played during the 40 minutes as well. This shouldn’t have happened and we will have to correct these things.”
