Hapoel Kfar Saba stunned Maccabi Haifa 3-2 as the Carmel Greens have now lost two games in a row having fallen in the Derby this past Saturday. Luwagga Kizito scored a brace for Amir Turgeman’s side that also were gifted an own goal by Ofri Arad who had given Barak Bachar’s squad an early lead un the first half. Nikita Rukavytsya who had missed an earlier penalty scored deep into second half injury time to pull a late goal back but it was too little too late as Kfar Saba took the 3-points.
Maccabi Petah Tikva got by Beitar Jerusalem 2-1 at Teddy Stadium as Liel Abada opened the scoring for visitors but Eliran Atar quickly drew the hosts even. However, Mohammed Hindy gave Petah Tikva and the win with a 41st minute goal to take the 3-points for Guy Luzon’s squad.
Kiryat Shemona slipped by Hapoel Tel Aviv 1-0 on a 57th minute won goal by Shay Eizen after Lucio’s ball went to Muhamed Shaker in the box whose shot caromed off of the Hapoel midfielder and behind Ernestas Setkus.
Ashdod walloped Maccabi Netanya 4-0 thanks to a Dean David brace that was followed up with goals by Nenad Cvetković and Shlomi Azoulay to surprise the diamond city squad.
Hapoel Haifa downed Bnei Yehuda 2-1 thanks to a pair of late goals by Kayes Ganem and Nes Zamir while Niv Zrihen was just able to pull one marker back as the hosts took the 3 points.
Hapoel Hadera slammed Bnei Sakhnin 4-0 as Odah Marshall scored a hat-trick while Asi Guma added a late goal to put the cherry on top of the win. Marshall found the back of the goal three times in the box with two of the markers being assisted by Gustavo Marmentini. Asi Guma closed out the victory with an 86th minute goal as Sharon Mimer’s squad took the 3-points.
