Beitar Jerusalem 1:0 Maccabi Netanya
Beitar has now gone three games in a row without giving up a goal winning two and drawing one as they picked up 3 points and cemented their 3rd place position. Dusan Matovic scored a fan static goal with a gorgeous strike from the left side into the top right handed corner. Slobodan Drapic’s charges made sure to keep a weak Netnaya squads at bay during the second half to keep Boris Kleyman’s clean sheet.
Maccabi Haifa 1:1 Hapoel Kfar Saba
Three straight draws for Kfar Saba as the two green clubs split the points at Sammy Ofer Stadium. Ioannis Papadopoulos opened the scoring for Kfar Saba with a 20th minute goal as Ludovic Obraniak drew the club’s even in the second half to take a point. After being subbed out at halftime, Nikola Drincic apparently left the stadium in disgust which may spell and end to his Hiaifa career.
Kiryat Shemona 3:0 Hapoel Tel Aviv
The Northern club finally got back into the win column beating a struggling Hapoel Tel Aviv side 3:0. Ofir Mizrachi opened the scoring with a first half blast and Bruno Konia headed in the second goal for the hosts. Or Ostaynd added insult to injury by scoring the third goal and giving coach Salih Hasarma some much needed breathing room.
Hapoel Raanana 1:0 Bnei Sakhnin
Raanana and coach Haim Silvas continued their match to the upper playoffs with a 1:0 win at the Netanya Stadium. After Barak Badash’s penalty was saved, Evans Kangwa played hero in the 73rd minute and scored the winner as Bnei Sakhnin will continue their search for a new coach and a win.
Maccabi Petach Tikva 1:1 Hapoel Haifa
New coach Meir Ben Mergi continued his undefeated streak drawing away at Petach Tikva who were playing at Bloomfield Stadium due to the winterization at the Moshava. Xavier Thomas gave the hosts the lead in the 39th minute after a goalmouth scramble as Ma’aran Lala evened the match up at the start of the second half with a 46th minute goal.
Hapoel Akko 0:1 Bnei Yehuda
Pedro Galvan saved Yossi Mizrachi’s side from a draw with an 89th minute goal. The Argentinian took advantage of a poor clearing attempt by Dani Amos off an Asi Baldot corner to win the match and collect the three points.
