Beer Sheva moved closer to the first title in 40 years as the home side defeated an overmatch Beitar Jerusalem 2:0. Goals by Eliyaniv Barda and Ovidiu Huban late in the match helped the table leaders to a five point lead with only two Matchdays remaining.

Another draw and another disappointing result for the Yellow-and-Blue as their goal scoring troubles continued for a fourth straight league match drawing with Raanana 1:1. Nosa Igiebor who had not played a league match since late February agreed in Maccabi’s lone goal while their former striker Barak Badash evened up the score just a few minutes later.
