Maccabi Haifa 3:3 Bnei Sakhnin

In a crazy match at Sammy Ofer Stadium, Giorginho scored in the 83rd minute to give the visiting Sakhnin side a draw and a split of the points. Haifa went ahead on a 7th minute own goal by Avraham Paz, however Shlomi Azulay’s first of two goals drew the teams even at 1:1 before the half. Sakhnin took the lead on Azulay’s brace in the 65th minute, but Haifa came back to take a 3:2 lead on goals by Glynor Plet and Eliran Atar three minutes apart as the match headed into the 80th minute. But that’s when Giorginho would produce his magic and tie the game up seven minutes from time as Sakhnin leads Haifa by 1-point for the fourth place battle.
