Israel U20’s fall to Slovenia 69-59; record drops to 2-1

The Israel Under-20 National Team fell to Slovenia 69-59 as they succumbed to their first defeat and blemished their perfect record dropping to 2-1 after three games in the FIBA Challenger tournament being held in Crete.

Slovenia held Israel to only seven first quarter points as they kept the Blue & White in check for the majority of the game to take the victory.

Dori Sahar led Israel with 17 points and was the only player in double digits while Gilad Levy added 9 points and Roy Paretsky chipped in with 7 points. Luka Scuka and Bine Preplevic each scored 16 points for Slovenia in the win.
